Upper face $550 · Lower face $550 · Full face $849
Jeuveau® (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) is a prescription neurotoxin, also called a neuromodulator, that softens expression lines by relaxing the small muscles that fold the skin when you frown, squint or raise your brows. It was FDA-approved in February 2019 for frown lines between the brows and is the first botulinum toxin developed only for aesthetic use. At Areum Haus in Torrance, Jeuveau is injected by Jessica, BSN, RN, founder and lead nurse, with physician medical oversight. Standard pricing is $11 per unit, and new clients pay $10 per unit. Upper-face and lower-face treatments are $550 each, full face is $849, and a lip flip is $100.
Does it hurt, and how long does it take? Injections use a very fine needle and feel like a quick pinch. Plan for about 30 minutes for the whole appointment, including assessment, injections and aftercare guidance. Results develop gradually and individual response and recovery vary.

Jeuveau is a neurotoxin, the same class of treatment as Botox. It is FDA-approved for frown lines between the brows. The other areas on our menu are treated off-label, a common practice when a licensed provider judges it appropriate for you. Every area is mapped and dosed at your consultation.

The modern neurotoxin
Jeuveau is a neurotoxin, a purified botulinum toxin type A made by Evolus and FDA-approved in 2019. A few precise injections relax the small muscles that fold your skin when you frown, squint or raise your brows, with the aim of softening movement-related lines. Your clinician plans treatment around your anatomy and preferences. Many clients know it as “Newtox”.
Jeuveau temporarily reduces muscle activity by blocking the release of acetylcholine, a messenger involved in muscle contraction. It is FDA-approved for moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. Other treatment areas involve off-label use and require an individual discussion of benefits, risks and alternatives.

Step by step
Allow about 30 minutes for the whole appointment, including assessment, injections and aftercare guidance. Follow the preparation instructions provided by your clinician.
Jessica looks at your face at rest and in motion, asks which lines bother you and which expressions you want to keep, and reviews your health history and any previous neuromodulator treatment. A licensed provider completes a Good Faith Exam to establish care. You leave with a written plan and quote before anything is injected.
Each muscle is marked and dosed individually. The FDA label uses 20 units across five sites for frown lines; other areas are dosed to your muscle strength and the softness you want. Flat-rate pricing—all clinically appropriate units included in the listed areas. Your clinician determines safe, appropriate dosing for your anatomy and goals.
A series of small injections with a very fine needle delivers the medicine into the selected muscles. Temporary bumps, redness, tenderness or bruising can occur at injection sites.
Injections may feel like a quick pinch. Sensitivity varies, and you can discuss comfort measures with your clinician before treatment.
Follow your clinician’s instructions about activity, skin care and what to watch for after treatment. Results develop over time; contact the clinic with questions or unexpected symptoms.

When results become visible
Some people notice a change in frown lines within a few days, with results continuing to develop afterward. Onset and degree of improvement vary. Your clinician explains what to expect for your treatment area.
How long Jeuveau lasts
Duration depends on the treatment area and individual response. Your clinician helps decide when reassessment is appropriate. The prescribing information recommends retreatment no more frequently than every three months. Off-label areas, including a lip flip, need their own discussion of expected results.

Jeuveau, Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin and Daxxify belong to the botulinum toxin type A category. Areum Haus offers Jeuveau. A consultation helps you compare the medicines in the context of your goals and prior treatment.
Product-specific units. Jeuveau units cannot be compared with or converted into units of another botulinum toxin product. A lower price per unit alone does not establish a lower total treatment cost.
Indications and dosing. Each product has its own labeling. Jeuveau is approved for moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults; other areas on our menu are off-label and need a separate discussion with your clinician.
Your plan at Areum Haus. Standard Jeuveau is $11 per unit, with a $10 per unit welcome rate for new clients. Your clinician confirms the appropriate dose or applicable flat-rate package before treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you decide.
Yes. Jeuveau is a prescription botulinum toxin type A medicine. It temporarily reduces activity in selected muscles by inhibiting the nerve signal involved in muscle contraction. It is approved for moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. Your provider reviews appropriate use and safety information before treatment.
No. Jeuveau and Botox Cosmetic are different prescription medicines in the botulinum toxin type A category. Their potency units are not interchangeable and cannot be converted from one product to the other. Areum Haus offers Jeuveau; your clinician plans dosing for that product and your anatomy.

Recovery varies. Temporary bumps, redness, tenderness or bruising can occur at injection sites. Follow your clinician’s instructions about activity, makeup and skin care after treatment, and contact the clinic about unexpected or worsening symptoms.
The most common are bruising, redness or tenderness at the injection site and headache. A temporary eyelid or brow droop can occur if the medicine affects a nearby muscle. Like all botulinum toxin products, Jeuveau carries a boxed warning about the distant spread of toxin effect; difficulty swallowing, speaking or breathing needs immediate medical attention. Your provider reviews the full safety information with you before treatment.
Tell Jessica which expressions you want to preserve. Dosing and placement are planned around your anatomy and preferences, but the exact degree of movement and aesthetic result cannot be guaranteed.
A lip flip is an off-label treatment intended to subtly change how the upper lip appears when you smile; it does not add filler volume. It is $100 at Areum Haus. Suitability, potential effects on lip movement, and expected duration are discussed at consultation.
Masseter treatment is an off-label use that relaxes the main chewing muscle. It can ease clenching and jaw tension, and over four to eight weeks the lower face often looks slimmer as the muscle rests. The masseter needs a higher dose than facial lines, so it is priced per unit and planned at consultation.
Trapezius treatment, sometimes called “Barbie Botox”, is an off-label use that relaxes the upper shoulder muscles. Clients ask for it to ease neck and shoulder tension and to lengthen the look of the neck. It is dosed to your muscle size and priced per unit.
Adults with frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet or other movement-related lines who want a subtle, temporary result with an individual recovery plan. A consultation and Good Faith Exam confirm whether Jeuveau is appropriate for you. Tell your provider about pregnancy or breastfeeding, neuromuscular conditions, allergies and all medications.
The welcome rate is $10 per unit for your first Jeuveau treatment at Areum Haus, new clients only. Confirm eligibility and your total with the team when booking.
Yes. Jeuveau treats lines made by movement, XERF treats laxity, Evolysse adds volume and SkinPen improves texture. Many clients combine them in one plan. Your provider decides the order and spacing between appointments.
