Two ways to personalize your SkinPen visit. Explore VAMP Advanced PDRN and PRP, with clear ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a plan for your skin.
VAMP Advanced is a formulated topical serum; PRP is prepared from your own blood. Both are optional, separately priced enhancements on the Areum Haus menu. Jessica helps you understand the proposed use and decide whether either belongs in your plan.
Start with the treatment your skin needs, then consider what an enhancement is intended to add. Ingredients, preparation, allergies, and the evidence for the specific combination all matter.
The science, simply explained
Two approaches. A personal choice.
01 / VAMP Advanced by Prollenium
A considered blend for skin quality.
VAMP Advanced combines purified PDRN—small DNA fragments derived from wild salmon—with hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, and minerals in a sterile topical formula.
PDRN
Purified salmon-derived DNA fragments, studied for their role in tissue-repair signaling.
Hyaluronic acid
A water-binding ingredient that helps support hydration.
Vitamins & amino acids
Includes niacinamide, vitamin B5, glycine, and proline as part of a broader nutrient blend.
Minerals
Part of the formulation designed to support skin conditioning.
Why we chose it: a documented ingredient blend and a standardized, ready-to-use formula. VAMP Advanced is for topical use on intact skin, not injection or application to broken skin. Your clinician plans its timing separately from any procedure that disrupts the skin barrier.
02 / PRP from your own blood
Your platelets. Carefully prepared.
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. A sample of your blood is processed to collect a platelet-rich portion. Platelets release signaling proteins involved in the body’s repair response; this is the biological rationale for discussing PRP in a skin-care plan.
Careful collection
Jessica’s collection and processing approach focuses on preserving platelets and limiting unnecessary handling.
Dedicated preparation
Blood components are separated so a platelet-rich portion can be collected.
An individual preparation
Platelet concentration depends on your starting blood count, the system, and the preparation protocol.
A treatment-specific discussion
The amount of platelets alone does not tell us how much a person’s skin will improve.
We explain the collection process, proposed application, and expected limitations before you decide. Results vary, and PRP is not suitable for everyone.
Assess your skin and whether SkinPen is appropriate before adding an enhancement.
02
Discuss VAMP Advanced or PRP
Review ingredients and allergies for VAMP, or blood collection and preparation for PRP. Jessica explains the proposed application and evidence.
03
Plan aftercare together
Review the complete treatment, its limitations, and recovery instructions.
After your visit
Room to recover.
Follow aftercare for the full treatment, including any added product. Tell your provider about fish allergies, medication, bleeding conditions, and previous reactions. Your clinician determines suitability and explains what to do if unexpected symptoms occur.
The longer view
Results, in context.
An enhancement is an option, not a promise of a better result. Discuss the evidence for the exact product and procedure together, and agree on how and when to assess your response.
Plan with clarity
What does it cost?
A single VAMP Advanced PDRN or PRP enhancement is an additional $325. Each three-enhancement package is $950. SkinPen package clients receive 10% off enhancement pricing; confirm your complete total and offer eligibility before booking.
PRP collection and processing focus on platelet recovery and careful handling. VAMP Advanced by Prollenium is the salmon-derived topical option on the enhancement menu.
Ask your provider about the proposed use, evidence, and risks. The FDA has not cleared microneedling devices for use with other products, including PRP; clearance of a device does not establish the safety or effectiveness of a combined treatment.
No. You can discuss SkinPen on its own. VAMP Advanced and PRP are optional and priced separately.
What is PDRN?+
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotides: short DNA fragments. The PDRN in VAMP Advanced is derived from wild salmon. Ingredient research provides a rationale for its use, but does not guarantee a clinical result.
Why does Areum Haus offer VAMP Advanced?+
Jessica selected Prollenium’s formula for its combination of PDRN, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, and minerals, with documented ingredients and standardized preparation. Suitability and the proposed application still need an individual discussion.
Is VAMP Advanced injected?+
No. The manufacturer labels VAMP Advanced for topical use on intact skin, not injection or use on wounds or compromised skin. Jessica must plan application timing around any skin procedure; it is not an injectable dermal filler.
How is PRP different from VAMP Advanced?+
PRP is a platelet-rich preparation made from your own blood. VAMP Advanced is a separate salmon-derived topical formulation. Their sources, preparation, and suitability differ.
Does a higher platelet count guarantee better results?+
No. Concentration and platelet recovery describe different aspects of preparation. Your starting blood count, the collection system, and the protocol affect the final product; a higher number alone does not establish a better skin result.
Does FDA clearance of SkinPen cover these combinations?+
No. The FDA has not cleared microneedling devices for use with other products such as PRP. Ask about the evidence, intended application, and risks of the proposed combination.
